Adhesive Technology in Chassis Suspension Engineering

What we offer

Background to this concept idea is the integration of adhesive technology into chassis suspension engineering. The central theme is a newly developed chassis component,
based on the technologically tried and tested leaf spring.
The concept envisages the combination of steel and an
adhesive in such a way that it results in a transverse leaf
spring. This component assumes wheel control as well as
spring and dampening functions. The basis of the component is a wheel-controlling suspension arm, which is directly attached to the bodywork. The adhesive contributes to the overall dampening of the transverse leaf spring. Initially, the test vehicle is the Green Emerald Formula Student racing car of the University of Applied Sciences, Osnabrück.
