eSorb - a new Component for Solvent Recovery in the Printing Industry

What we offer

In the printing industry, organic solvents are used for quality requirements on color brilliance. Today a recovery of solvents by means of adsorptive concentration, water vapor desorption, condensation and reprocessing is conducted for throughputs of 1 t/h.
To recover solvent throughputs of 100 to 500 kg/h economically we developed an absorptive concentration procedure which allows a desorption by air or inert gas and an easier reprocessing. eSorb represents the new absorption stage and it is very efficient due to large mass transfer surface. Existing afterburning units are to be replaced by the new recovery system.
The project is sponsored by “Deutsche Bundesstiftung
Umwelt”.
